Pesta Bola Merdeka

sorry if my post will be a sloppy 1, with many grammatical errors & with de mixture of Eng & Malay languages. I'm tired, disjointed & frustrated.
in my hotel room @ Sri Petaling Hotel, typing out de frustration I had during de final of Pesta Bola Merdeka (I changed it to Pesta Bola Raya coz it used 'merdeka' as de tourney supposed to take place somewhere arnd august bersempena dgn Msia nye kemerdekaan but It was postponed and now, diadakan pada musim raya).
Msia lost de final to Vietnam in de penalty shoot-out (sudden death) 5-6. full time score was 0-0

Msia reached de final after a very successful group stage matches and excellent semi-final match.
group stage : 4-0, 4-0, 6-0 (Nepal, Sierra Leone, Afghanistan) & SF : 4-0 over Myanmar.
ok people, especially de haters of Msia football team, u can say that they faced easy opponents during de group stage but at least, they played all out and got the convincing victories without conceeding. in de SF, they played Myanmar. no 1 gave them hope. Myanmar squad is de one that played in de 2004/5 & 2006 Tiger/AFF cup. I stil remember fondly how my own nation, Singapore, struggled to overcome Myanmar but Msia did it in a very much easier way. well, i dun deny that Msia looked shaky earlier during de match but once they'd gotten their rhytm & momentum, enough-said, goals were scored.

I was hoping for them to do well too in de Final. I know several players in de squad. I mingle with them better compared with my own country-men.
players sana walau dah kawin ke tunang ke ade GF ke, their partners are understanding. the WAGS pon boleh mingle with us freely & mcm dah lama kenal.
but in Spore, baru ade GF (pon tak ke mana la, kekentalan), dah kene kurung, kongkong. kekek ah players spore, takot dgn pompuan seh. takut kene tinggal ke takut tak dpt 'mesra bersama'?
kadang2 yg dah kawin tu lagi better la de wifey ;) haha, no comment la kan, I was once de WAGS of players jugak but takla pulak aku ni gila glamour ke gila nama, come on la people, partner korang tu public figure, jgn nak simpan dlm kain je. w/o fans, tak siapelah diorang tu.

so, lets get back to PBM, de main reason for Msia failure was, de strikers' failure to convert their chances into goal(s). I was wonderin where all de understandings that they built during de prev games & malang sekali, when that was what u needed de most, u didnt make use of it.
no blame to de defence nor de goalie. ok fine, de defender missed de spot-kick but was it fair just to blame him? Hafiz Zamani shudnt be blamed.
no goals were conceeded untill dat spot-kick moment. need I to say more? de defence (Hafiz Zamani, Daud, Irwan, Aidil and de others DF) marshalled their backline damn well and Helmi Eliza too, guarded his area well. Eliza not to be blamed too for not saving de penalties, it was nt an easy task, people. spare ur thought.
Eliza had done extremely well thruout de tourney, not forgetting that sweet-boy Adney who played in de last group match. though he was lacking of confidence but he did well in order not to conceed.
so frontmen, u didnt do ur job well in de final. no goals conceeded made it easier to score even only 1 but de goal never arrived.

well, no point dwelling. its over. lets look forward for de nx tourney in Myanmar (kan?) in Nov before de AFF-Suzuki cup in Dec. take de failure as de key to more success in future. I believe u guys can do it. dah nampak byk sgt improvement and I dare 2 say, Singapore is lucky not to be placed in de same group as Msia in de AFF cup.
so Msian tigers, i wanna see de same spirits like de ones in PBM. dun dwell over de defeat but bounce from it. keep up de gd performance and transform it into victory(ies) in de upcoming tournaments.
de tigers are well-loved & supported by me just like my lions.
